Accelerator & fund in Maputo

Since 2021 I am fund manager of the Orange Corners Innovation Fund in Mozambique, financed by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). In partnership with Resilience B.V. - an international research and project organization -  we designed and implement an accelerator program and provide startup capital to young entrepreneurs. The program runs until 2026 with €800,000 available for entrepreneurs.

  • Created the fund structure to finance 50 entrepreneurs in the next 5 years.

  • Forged partnerships with financial institution GAPI and IdeiaLab as program partners.

  • Leading the investment team with applications, due diligence, and portfolio management.

  • Currently financing the first round of 12 entrepreneurs.
