Emerging market investment

From 2012 - 2015 I worked with BiD Network to manage the investment matchmaking program. During this time we:

• Raised over $7.5 million for 65+ startups across Asia, Latin America, and Africa. 

• Managed the ‘Get in the Ring’ Africa competition across 14 countries. 

• Designed and implemented matchmaking financing facilities in Somalia, Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, and Burundi for large funders such as IFAD.

• Advised over 1,000 entrepreneurs and managed a network of over 200+ financiers. 

• Managed partnerships with a.o. IFC and the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves. 

Working at BiD Network gave me tremendous experience with startups and investors across the world, working in a young and vibrant international team. I also gained experience with program management with (large) donors and other funders.
